I love making silly characters! I'm a very big fan of Tokidoki, gloomy bear and other novelty characters. So why not an axolotl? Why not a MAGICIAN axolotl? They're unique creatures on their own and very rarely illustrated or talked about, so I decided to play around and make a lovable character

Since I have gathered more experience in the industry I decided to re-brand myself with a cleaner and more mature layout while still keeping a contrasting color scheme.

This project was very fun to make. I wanted a new vector illustration that could combine my quirky character design with something a little more mature.

I designed this character for a friend of mine who needed an avatar for his gamer tag. He wanted a ninja-viking crossover, so I did the best I could while still bearing resemblance to him!

Sometimes the most difficult work is the work that you do for yourself. I have redesigned Layer56 several times before I finally decided on a completely fresh layout. Here is one of my Layer56 layouts which may not have ended up becoming my website, but should not be neglected and deserves a showcase!

The layout was based on an accordion-style menu using Javascript where I was planning on putting all of my content on the same page.

Adala is a clothing line created by a young designer Melanie. She asked me to revamp her site since her previous one was outdated. I thoroughly enjoyed creating her layouts and received great feedback!

The Four Oaks logo was created for a customer who was interested in placing multiple orders from our office. Four Oaks was initially logo-less and wanted something that would stand out a little more then just typeset. I wanted to help him get his foot through the door so I created a logo which he loved! It ended up being engraved and printed on his promotional products.
