I designed this character for a friend of mine who needed an avatar for his gamer tag. He wanted a ninja-viking crossover, so I did the best I could while still bearing resemblance to him!

I love making silly characters! I'm a very big fan of Tokidoki, gloomy bear and other novelty characters. So why not an axolotl? Why not a MAGICIAN axolotl? They're unique creatures on their own and very rarely illustrated or talked about, so I decided to play around and make a lovable characterCharacter Design, Illustration, Visual Arts2012 -
Since I have gathered more experience in the industry I decided to re-brand myself with a cleaner and more mature layout while still keeping a contrasting color scheme.Advertising, Branding, Digital Art2012 -

I have never really found Wind Mobile's logo to be effective or appealing so I decided to make my own version! I decided to use a kite-like object as a logo to symbolize Wind's easy-going image while adding sharp edges for a more sophisticated look.Branding, Advertising2012 -
I had this idea that was best transformed into a vector. I wanted to illustrate my vision of the human mind's invisible forces and electricity. I've always held a great interest in how the mind works and reacts to everyday life.Illustration2011 -
Silly ideas still require good execution, there really is no deep meaning to this vector, and yet it remains one of my favourites, regardless of it's simplicity.Illustration2011 -

Sometimes the most difficult work is the work that you do for yourself. I have redesigned Layer56 several times before I finally decided on a completely fresh layout. Here is one of my Layer56 layouts which may not have ended up becoming my website, but should not be neglected and deserves a showcase!
The layout was based on an accordion-style menu using Javascript where I was planning on putting all of my content on the same page.Web Design, Web Development2012 -
This logo was designed for a freelance client who wanted her small brand to have a more professional identity. This client specializes in creating custom cakes, candies and party favours. She has a feminine image and I wanted to reflect her work's cheerful nature while symbolizing her line of work.Branding, Advertising2012 -
This was one of my few school projects that I kept in my portfolio. It may not be the newest but I'm still very proud of it! I ended up giving the printed skateboard to my little brother as a gift :)Illustration, Print Design2012 -
Adala is a clothing line created by a young designer Melanie. She asked me to revamp her site since her previous one was outdated. I thoroughly enjoyed creating her layouts and received great feedback!Advertising, Web Design, Branding2012 -
The Four Oaks logo was created for a customer who was interested in placing multiple orders from our office. Four Oaks was initially logo-less and wanted something that would stand out a little more then just typeset. I wanted to help him get his foot through the door so I created a logo which he loved! It ended up being engraved and printed on his promotional products.Branding, Advertising2012
